Coastal guys use those. HD galv. down on the texas coast will rust out in only a few years, I imagine it's much the same on any coast.

When my fishing buddies & I built our fishing pier down there we used no hangers, beams under all joist, SS screws everywhere. Took a direct hit from a cat. 1 hurricane & survived a few years ago, most piers in our bay system got wiped out.

Well I'd like to get rid of this hardware, $250 gets it all with free shipping. Let me know if I'm off base, seems like $500+ worth of hardware.

Re: Does Anybody Here Use SS Hardware

Nobody uses them here (no need, not enough moisture to cause issues, plus no one uses acq around here anymore) I used to offer ss as an upgrade when we did wood frames.

I'm not pushing this as a normal in stock item, I have leftover stuff and would rather it go to someone who will use it. If I was trying to say that I could continue to supply stuff then no I would not be allowed to sell it here.
