Re: Deck Sealing Recomendation

Sounds like neither of you have ever used it...

If only Billy Mays was still around...maybe you'd believe...?

Oh well- if you enjoy RE-applying typical, crappy deck sealers every 3yrs...have fun. I'll go with what lasts the longest.

Re: Deck Sealing Recomendation

Has anyone ever tried to remove One Time? How does the acrylic resin that "cures" into wood come off? It doesn't seem like a typical Sodium Hydroxide mix is going to remove it.

I hate to tell the HO, "I hope you like it, because it's never going to come off!"

Re: Deck Sealing Recomendation

hello all..
need help on finding a sealer for a wooden ramp project that will make it 1 hr. fire rated. Ramp will be installed next to the property redwood fence. California code states that any structure built within the property line should be FIRE RATED FOR 1 HOUR.
Will appreciate your feedback !

A sealer will not make it fire rated for 1 hour. You need to used a fire rated material on the ramp, ipe or a composite like Ameradeck.

Re: Deck Sealing Recomendation

Thanks for the reply, I guess we'll have to go plan B

Found this aluminum modular ramp for sale at one website specializing in
handicap product. It will be delivered and assembled on site by buyer.
Had anyone tried this product? any recomendation for a good supplier? I've been struggling for weeks to solve this problem.

Thank you all !
