Re: Deck Building Pricing

just got a estitmate in mail 2.272 to build pressure treated patio deck for my new 3 month old patio door. Old patio is cement slab like 14 inches thick. Its cracked in middle original to house. They said no problem with can build new deck over the top of it. Meaning it would be very labor intensive to jack hammer out a 14 inch thick concrete patio. So they said we will build over it pour footings longer and wider than the old slab. And you really won't be able to see it underneath when were done.

Re: Deck Building Pricing

Why don't you charge just for materials and not for labor if you are inexperienced and it's your first job. That way if you run away without finishing they can't sue you as they will still have the materials at the work site.
