Crazy To Mix Hardwork Decking With Endurance Railing??

I'm bidding a pretty highend deck job. The customers are back and forth on materials. I'm trying to come up with something innovative and attractive for them. There trying to do a nicer deck then there neighbors mahogany deck.

One think the people are sure of is that they want the endurance colonial balusters and railing. I was thinking of recommending going with the endurance railing with ipe decking. What do you guys think of that.

Also i need to design a pergola.

BTW how does cedar hold up? This is my first deck that isn't all composite or a cheap builders treated lumber deck and would like to try to do something really nice.

These customers are real nice. They designed the whole deck in cad the way they want it. They just arn't sure on what material is best.

I think it would look real sharp...and cedar would be a good option for the pergola...

Holy schit that looks good!!

If i go with ipe for the decking would toy recommend me going with ipe for the pergloas, or would it be ok to add cedar into the mix?
