Composite Deck Benches
Y'all have any favorite ways of constructing backless benches for decks? I'm probably going to be using Trex on this one, so I'll have 2x4s and 2x6s at my disposal as well as 5/4 decking. Right now I'm thinking 2x4s laid flat for the top and 2x4s laid on edge for a picture frame. Any thoughts?

Re: Composite Deck Benches
4x4 vertical support bolted to joist aproximatly 36" oc, use trex trim base where they come through the deck. fasten 2x4s to form a T. for the perimeter use 2x or 5/4 fastned to the Ts. then fill in 2x4 16" oc. use 5/4 for the top. set up the perimeter to be over hung, or flush whatever.
