CD CX Install-MartyCD

I still have to post a couple times before I can PM. I wanted to tell you that I bought a router bit for the CD and it is really slick! I'll put up some pictures next week so you can see for yourself. I will have some before pictures to laugh at and some structure pictures along the way for everyone to pick on. I should take one and photoshop a bus parked on it, for a laugh! The bit does work well with my Bosch because I can turn down the speed and chip like a bahstid.
The deck is a 16 x 24 with a notch for a hot tub. I put a huge bevel on the inner corner, almost to tangent with the corner of the tub to minimize the length 2ft wide removable panels for HT maintainance.

Regarding the pictureframe, I was trying to decide whether to round over and touch up (CX) the miter cuts on the endboard where they meet the picture frame or just leave the sharp edge. HO says it's my call. I'm probably going for the round over because it's in the egress to the tub. Extra work, but good business.

Cool! I agree, your call on whether to do the roundover. Both ways look good, maybe the roundover emphasizes the professional work a bit more. The touch up paint is a good match and contains the antimicrobial, so there's no downside to using that. Need a touch up kit?

Good call on the round over on the end boards! Touch-up will look great when done!

Now CD needs to come up with 2/3 size EB-Ty so I don't have to take time out to make my own shorties. I did this instead of doubling the joist at the picture frame. It came out nice!

I need to get my camera back before I can post pics.
