Cad Quest - Decktools??

Hi, I'm new to the forum and a search of the Deck section has no mention of this design program - CAD Quest Deck Design Professional

Any thoughts vs. Decktools?

We're adding a deck division to a successful masonry business (residential patio/walkway/wall) and were looking for some input. Currently, we use hand drawn layouts on the patio end but I'd like to use the power of a program like one of the above...

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Ed

We are also starting a Deck Biz and was wondering what you decided to do?
Also, I think the two go well together (Masonary/Decking)!
We have bought the deck tools and they are still working out some pretty big bugs at the moment.

Re: Cad Quest - Decktools??

Oregon Rob, I decided to hook up with a designer/subcontractor who will use my scale drawings and digital photos of the customer's house to create a CAD drawing and take-off list. I did purchase a CAD program (DesignCAD) and am learning it - slowly! But for now, it makes sense for me to handle the marketing and sub out the rest.

Regards,
Ed

deck tools is a great idea but i've heard it needs alot of work. I'll be sure the bugs are out before I put out that much money
