Wireless Thermostat

The other "Wireless" thread got me thinking.
I need to wireless control a gas fireplace blower motor via a thermostat. I don't mean a handheld remote control like a lot of FP's come with, I mean a mounted thermostat that is wireless.

Before I go a web browsin' does anyone know if such a beast even exists???

Re: Wireless Thermostat

Sounds like the blower switch is all bricked in next to the hearth, with no way to fish to it, eh?

I don't know of one, but it would be a handy item to keep in the memory banks, for special occasions.

Re: Wireless Thermostat

Not a wireless thermostat persay,,,But HD has ceiling fan remote (Harbor Breeze)-I think, that has a thermostat to operate the fan as well as a maunual speed control....they are mountable.

Do a search on google, there are quite a few of them, Honeywell and Smarthome has them.
