In the meantime. What are some things I can study to get ahead?

Please let me know.

Study plumbing, in case electrical doesn't pan out.
Seriously though, if you haven't had an interview yet you should brush up on that. A good first impression during an interview could help you get the job.

I have one interview scheduled so far. It is schedules for next week. I have three other companies. They usually say 1 week to get back and it has only been a couple of days.

Go to the library and read a code book or two. Read up on OSHA rules and regs. Reading will never get you anything but smarter.

If you're being hired as entry level, they really don't expect you to actually know anything. Matter of fact, green guys that try to act like they actually know something are oft scorned. It might be better to lay low and see what sort of work you'll actually get into on a day-to-day basis, then you'll have a topic to study.

Seriously tho'

Depending on what aspect of the trade you're heading into, you can adjust the curve with some appropriate books from:
Mike Holt
Tom Henry
Charles R. Miller
Ray C. Mullin
James Stallcup

.....etc

...all available at http://www.barnesandnoble.com

Avoid all books with this guy on it:

agreed...show them a positive attitude and willingness to learn...more valuable than anything you will read out of a book in the next week..
