Trim Ring Mystery

Gentleman, I've been a way awhile from this site hope everyone is good.

Can some one find me a source to locate a recess fixtures' trim ring.
This fixture housing is probably 30yrs old and just houses a heat lamp bulb. The approx. diameter is 7" and I need something to trim it off with and still let out the heat.

I thank you for your help in advance, Regards Mike of Mike the handyman.

Far too vague. Like saying you need a car part.

Model, make, manufacturer please.

The part you need would have to be UL listed specific to the fixture you have, and will not likely be available. Sorry, punt.

Thanks for getting back but when you work in these old (30 or more years) buildings the hi hat cans are rusted out and there's no info anywhere to be seen. Not to many years back you could buy round trim rings in larger sizes because that's what was being installed at that time. Looking for 7 or 8 inch in diameter white trim rings with an opening to show a regular heat lamp bulb. Thanks again Mike

Well, Ampman no wonder your posting so much with all that info you provide, I think the total is Zero. I get on when I can and when I need info. For the better part of every day I work and unfortunately unlike you don't have the time to throw senseless digs at people you don't even know.

I have to say, your the first person on this site that put his personality right out there. "Won't you be my neighbor" thanks for nothing!
