Touch Dimmers

Client is asking about touch dimmers for LED lighting, and sent me a link to Gira product as a guide. Anybody have a recommendation for something similar on this side of the pond? Thanks. (I'm assuming these fit European gang box and systems only)

Oik, forget the Gira. Anybody have a recommendation on touch dimmers that will work in the US? We're looking at these:

Does it need to be multi gang or have remote control abilities?

If not how about Lutron Vierti.

Thanks.

Vierti is in the mix. I need to go see for myself if any are multi-gang - hope not. The interest in touch pads came up after my last trip, so I wasn't looking too closely.

Remote control, no (not yet, anyway)...They're gadget people, so you never know for sure.

Only reason I ask about multi-gang is with non-standard plates they get really expensive, and if you mix and match decora with non-standard devices sometimes you can't get a cover plate in the configuration you want.

I do understand. Funny thing is the first response I got from sending the link for the $140 dimmer was "wow", in terms of the price." wth? we just went from maestro to cool touch dimmers...what do they expect?

Order up a 5 or 6 gang coverplate from Lutron and it comes to about the same price.

It's funny touch dimmers were popular 30 years ago, then they fell completely out of fashion.
