Question Regarding Surplus Electrical Material

Hi,

I have had an electrical contracting company for the last 6 years. I recently decided to pursue other interests, therefore I am demolishing my office building and converting them into condominiums. During the projects I completed I have accumulated an immense amount of excess material such as gang boxes, receptacles, conduit, cabling, various fixtures etc. I also have a lot of tools, storage equipment, drafting boards etc. I am having my building demolished in approximately 1 month. This material represents a significant financial investment to me and I would hate for it to go to waste. I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions on how I go about selling this material--either to another electrical contractor or as scrap. Any advise would be deeply appreciated. You can email me directly at Gokul.solai@gmail.com.

Thank you!

Re: Question Regarding Surplus Electrical Material

Why don't you just mail some letters to local electrical contrs. in your area and let them know what ya got, I'm sure someone would make you an offer for the whole sha-bang or different items.
