P&S GFCI's

Has anyone used the new p&s gfci's. They made them shorter in depth but they are wider. The grounding terminal is also a pain. For the hot and neutral if you strip out more than a 1/4" there is bare wire hanging out the back of the device. I also believe the face plate is a different plastic because it gets dirty instantly. I hate leviton so I will continue to use P&S but i hope they fix these problems.

This is my first post. I work out of Lancaster, Pa I do mostly residential and commercial work

Welcome to the board Mr. Fiction (haha) I have not seen any new GFI's but I'll keep my eye out for a POS P&S.

I saw them the other day, didn't really check them out all that much. The Leviton's (for me) have the highest failure rate, the Coopers have been good to me.

I've had a few boxes for a couple of weeks, but I'm still working on the old supply. They're about a dollar more than the old version also.

Re: P&S GFCI's

I haven't used them yet. But I would imagine they'd be nicer to use because they have less depth to them and would easier to fit in a box. Hubbel seems to be the best GFCI's out there but they're too damn expensive.

Re: P&S GFCI's

I am quite partial to Cooper GFIs.

I also can't stand Leviton GFI devices.
