Moto Disco

Excuse me it's been a few years since I worked in a machine shop setting, but I have a 10hp 480 volt motor that is hydraulic pump. It will be set up with in 5' of the 480 panel, Customer is begging for a twist lock with as much S/O cord as possible. Like 75' so he can move this pump around. I wanted to put a fusible disco on the wall and run seal tight from disco to motor and bolt motor to the floor. He is going to do it my way but I had a hard time explaining why his way was incorrect. Then I started questioning myself. Could I do it his way? Well I am off to hockey now.............bk

Re: Moto Disco

He wants to drag around a resevoir and motor/pump/valves? Hope it's on wheels. If so, just mount a disconnect on this power unit and you're good.
