It might seem a bit much but I have a job soon where I ll be bending 3/4 and 1 inch emt for 8-10 day for the next 3-4 months. thanks bk.......................................go wings!

Re: Laser Tape
I have a David White unit I like.
I wonder why you need a laser tape to bend pipe? Do you mean to make horizontal runs?

Re: Laser Tape
The company I used to work for had several. I used them for field measuring many times. I found 100' measurements would be within 1/32" to 1/8" when I double checked. They are a great timesaver. Especially if you are doing verticle measurements or over an open hole etc. I think they were around $900 from Hilti but I seen them go for under $500 on Ebay.

Re: Laser Tape
A glass subcontractor that worked for me had a Hilti model (not sure specific model) but as katttfish said, it was a whole lot more accurate than a 1/4".

Re: Laser Tape

Re: Laser Tape
I have the Hilti, but it is the older, larger model. I love it, just used it this morning to measure a bar I am working on to make a decent set of drawings for the other trades. Measured the entire place by myself in about a half hour. Accurate to within 1/32" at 100 feet I believe. The newer models are smaller and have more features, but mine does everything I need it to. Calculates square feet, cubic feet, calculates inaccessable height using the Pythagoras therory.
