How Much Are You Paying For Electrical Inspections
Hi everybody
Ran into a situation in pennsylvania ,I went to bid a job called the township inspector for a price for site electrical 20 poles 2 services and 8 feeders couldnt give me a price ,asked the bco for a price she came back with $650 day after bid was due the guy who dose the commercial is a 3 rd party the bco and inspector are only certified for residential ,the ucc electrical code 404.2 fees will be established by govering body all fees to be as per fee schedgule, no one could produce one . The compeditor agency only wanted $250 . There is currently a law suit going to pa superior court, when act 45 was passed 501 d says nothing can keep anyone certified out of a municapality with a few exceptions. What really urks me is with a two day course and a test the bco/bureaucrat can call the shots on the nec and their liable for nothing.I never had thease kind of problems when we used 3 rd party inspectors. whats everyone else running into cmec Last edited by cmec; 02-08-2008 at 08:41 PM. |

Is the boca code in the whole state of illonois ? we have lawmakers wanting to repeal it here, the day they passed it they they also passed many ammendments,1st 1 size dont fitt all in pa if you look at the geography and demographics its really apparent theres over 2000 municapalities, lots of them dont have police departments, lots of them cant afford to administrate the code so its done by third parties ,all it did was made jobs for bureaucrats that probably cant be outsourced. |
