Grounding Rods


Regarding 200 amp meter base combo install:

Looking for proper placement of copper grounding rods from meter base?

If I recall the 1st rod should be 5' from the new meter and the second should be no less that 6' from the first.

A little help would be greatly appreciated....

There is no proximity to the first rod. Just that the two be at least 6' apart.

Local & utility rules may also apply in your case. Check with your building department and power company.
