Ground Ties

I'm a finish carpenter that needs some advice. I live in San Diego County, CA. I need to know if my ground wires from outlet to outlet need to be crimp connected or wire nut connected to meet code. Or is either OK. Thanks

Re: Ground Ties

Both are code legal. Crimping must be done correctly though.
Some areas unjustifiably require a 4-way crimper. A "standard" crimper is legal and safe.

Re: Ground Ties

Thanks Petey. I thought they were, but wanted to make sure. I'm bringing a room addition built without a permit 20 years ago into code compliance. Now I don't have to buy or borrow those expensive 4 way crimpers.
