Generator

Whats the going price to install a propain generator for a residential home. Just want a ball park price for the labor end. I really dont have a clue what contractors are charging. Of course this is very basic info, but any shared knowledge will be a great help.

Re: Generator

I get around $3700 for a 7kw Briggs/Cutler, turn key. With a 50 amp, 10 ckt automatic transfer panel.
Delivered, set, tested.

10kw is about another $1k.
200A auto transfer switch is about another $700.
