Finehomebuilding.com land of DIY'er and hacks

From FHB:

Is schedule 40 conduit allowed in commercial applications, or do you have to use rigid metal conduit only. This is for surface applications, not in-wall applications.

Kind of funny, yet really scary

What? Haven't you ever heard of schedule 40 EMT?

Sheesh.

I have absolutely no idea about the elec. end of things...I did drop my subscription because it seemed the mag. was catering more to HOers with $$ than builders....

More photo spreads were done to showcase and give HOers ideas than good knowledge for carpenters/tradesmen....The total opposite of the sister Mag...Fine Woodworking. I read each issue 2-3 times....

I don't know about the .com, but I can only imagine.

In this application, you really need the schedule 80 pipe.
Much stronger...really keeps those electrons contained.
