Never saw brown hat light trims. When we need colors, we buy white one's and have them painted at a body shop. The cost is quite minor.

X3, i have done the same for wire-mold too when it had to be used but needed to blend in as best as possible.

I've spray painted many a trim to match whatever the color happens to be.

Try lightly sanding the surface first. It keeps the paint from flaking off so fast.
