To Electrical Contractor Owners
We are a low voltage contractor here and are non union. A local Electrical company subs us work for communications and he is union. He is thinking about starting another division of his company to do what we do. Which would cut us out of the loop. Im trying to come up with a way in which he and I can benefit somehow. So that is my question, is there a way we both can benefit from this or not. If so what can him and I do?

Re: To Electrical Contractor Owners
Offer to combine your company with his, and you become a shareholder in the resultant company.

Re: To Electrical Contractor Owners
Why not go union? Your employees will get paid more with great benefits and you'll have the chance to bid bigger, better, and more profitable jobs. I was never really one to talk-up unions, but my experiences have me coming around.
