Electrical Code Question
Two codes questions that I suspect will be easy for someone to answer!
1) Do all the receptacles in a bathroom have to be GFCI or just the ones near the sink? 2) Along with that, are receptacles required anywhere in the bathroom other than near the sink. I know they can't be in the shower space, tub space or in the toilet , but I have a wall run of about 8' opposite the wall that will have the shower and vanity, so I didn't know if I'll need outlets there. 2) Are outlets required in a walk-in closet? Thanks! Kevin |

Re: Electrical Code Question
1) ALL bath receptacles require GFI protection. 210.8(A)(1)
2) Only vanity/sink area receptacles are required. Others are optional with the limitations you described. 210.52(D) 3) No. None required.
