Disconnecting Wiring Question

I know this is an easy question for you guys, but I appreciate your help.

I need to totally remove a light (commercial light with 4 florescent bulbs) and will be disconnecting the wiring to the light. The light is on the end of the wiring run. This run of lights are always on (safety lights for the building). What do I do with the remaining wiring?

Also, if this light was in the middle of the run, how would I manage that?

Thanks again for your help,

Albert

Re: Disconnecting Wiring Question

Typically you can replace the light with a junction box and cover. If the light is in the middle of a run it may take two junction boxes with covers with a conduit and wires between the two.

Be sure the power is off (circuit breaker and switch).

just put all the wires together with one gigantic wire nut and flip the switch.

Re: Disconnecting Wiring Question

Glue some CEDAR wood to the angle iron and secure it with some kite string.
