No problem. Our box stores carry them and any electrical supply will have them.

Pay no mind to md now, being a PITA is part of his nature. Do listen to him when he speaks on technical topics, he's one of our better sparky's.

Yes, a 2 gang plate with a switch opening on one side and a blank on the other side is available at the supply house for about a dollar. They are a normal truck stock item for me (just one), and they help me out of a jam sometimes. Your other option is to use a regular 2 gang switch plate and use a dummy filler to fill the other switch opening. The dummy switch fillers are available at the supply house too. They're only 50 cents.

$.50 for a decco blank?
Where do you shop at, those are like 3.50 at bum depot, and the house is a little more than that

I don't shop at the big box stores, and I don't use Decora. The regular snap switch dummies are about 50 cents.

Because Home Depot is not an electrical supply house. The P&S part number is TPJ113-I (or -W or -LA or whatever color you need).

md, EVERYBODY is Decora today. I've done a number of whole house changeouts. Bone is also out, White or black Decora is now a fashion statement.

Havn't seen or done a Decora home in a very long time. Must be a geographical trend.

I would say yes to the Decora style being a "geographical trend"......everybody here in Northern California has Decora style outlets and switches, and if they dont were putting them in for them

Re: Cover Plate: One Side Single Pole.. The Other Side Blocked

In the past few years all the full change outs (recepts - sw) have all been decco. I don't even ask anymore. And at $20 per recpt the HO loves the new look. Add another 6 bucks if I pig tail it, which is almost always....15A
