Cable Splicing
Hey, i have am considering a job as an apprentice Cable Splicer at telus. 2 Questions: Is that ticket u get an electricians ticket or is it different? Cause i wanna be an electrician, but this is a pretty sweet job from wat i hear, so if i could get a lot of years doing this before becoming my own contractor thatd be pretty sweet.
2) i am slightly colorblind to red/green. It isent severe, and have past the firemans eyecolor vision test, so it is pretty mild. Can i still be an electrcian? i heard u need pretty good color vision. hmm thanks! |

Re: Cable Splicing
You are mentally shopping around for a career, how about if you acuity physically go shopping. What I mean is it might be best if you go and apply for a job at something that you really would like to do and try it out. You have nothing to loose and you might be surprised as to what you are good at. Otherwise you are just dreaming about it and getting nowhwere.
