CA State Certification Preparation Classes

Who has taken classes in preparation for the CA state certification test?
Who did you use, where was it, and how much did you pay?

I just want to know whether to sign up for the online style classes, or the in house classes, prices vary drastically, which is fine, i just want to get the best bang for my buck.

I bought the trade and law books and CDs from Peerless. Passed both the first time. Cost was about $600 for everything. This was a year and a half ago.

Re: CA State Certification Preparation Classes

I just read through the books and cds. I also went over and over the sample tests as well. Only other tip I have that helped, was my 6 years of college that taught me how to take multiple choice tests pretty well. Most of the trade stuff was pretty basic. Most of it I had learned in the field the few years before taking my test. Some of the construction specific law stuff helped from the books. The rest of It I picked up from getting my business degree in college.
