Buzzing Noise
This is interesting....
A buzzing noise occurred in an older home we did work on in Alexandria Va. I isolated it between a metal light junction box and a fan box. It was old wires no ground wire run through pipes. I found that it was a harmonic caused by a loss of ground from the piping and the sharing of a neutral. I was wondering how this exactly comes about and what exactly are the causes. I was also wondering if this is unsafe. Anyone? Sean www.electricianfairfaxva.com www.murphyfamilyelectric.com |

Re: Buzzing Noise
I personally dont know and i am curious of the answer to this. I take it you ran a new ground circuit to isolate the problem?
