Box Extensions?

Hey, I put a medicine cabinet in my bathroom where there used to be a mirror... Now when I went to install the light fixture it would shine right onto the top of the medicine cabinet. Is there a decorative box extension that I could attach to the wall to bring it out 2-3" and then attach the light to that?

Or any other tips you may have in overcoming this issue?

Thanks again.

Re: Box Extensions?

Yes, but the exact product depends on whether you have a round box or rectangular, and what size the base of the fixture is (dimensionally). More info, por favor.

It is a round box metal box. And the fixture got returned because my wife decided she did not like it as much when she got it home. I have not bought another one yet untill I knew if I could get an extension or if I would have to find a weird fixture. But I imagine it will most likely be something similar to this one. Fixture
