Anyone heard of PowerWorx??

I saw this yesterday and wondered if it is legit. This "device" is hooked into your electrical system and acts as a whole house surge protecter and apparently will reduce your hydro bill through less "leakage"

Anyone heard of such a device??

From their website:

It's time to face the facts. Energy costs are on the rise, and the use of electronics in our homes is growing exponentially. To add insult to injury, every day, the appliances and electronic devices in our homes are under attack from surges, spikes and electrical noise. The time is now for a Whole House Energy Management System.
Say, "Hello!" to the PowerwoRx e3, a clean power system based on the same technology that has been used for years by big industry and utility companies. The PowerwoRx e3 provides your home with:
  • power conditioning abilities that translate directly into savings
  • an easy installation that creates immediate benefits
  • a cost-effective solution that is amazingly maintenance-free

The powerworx does what they say if you read between the lines. It does give you whole house surge protection and its got a gaurantee to back that up but you wont see a big drop in your energy bill. Just like all the other similar devices out there it uses capacitors to store motor start up power and redistributes it not much savings on your average home. I have seen 20% cuts on dairy farms though.
