Another Aluminum Wiring Question
I need to hook up a new stove exhaust fan to aluminum wiring. The old one just had regular wire nuts. Is it acceptable to use aluminum compatible wire nuts with anti oxididant, or pigtail copper wire? I know both of these "fixes" are controversial, and COPALUM is expensive, but I can't tell the HO to convert her whole house wiring for one fan!

Re: Another Aluminum Wiring Question
You can use the Ideal purple wire nuts, designed for that purpose. You can also use a little #12 AL/CU split bolt and tape it up.
