Re: Water Damage Job

don't blame you for wanting to leave MI, i've never heard many good things about that state and business.
Things will turn around and you have talent, you will make it somewhere else. keep that head up and work on bettering your situation. this country may suck to live in sometimes but compared to the rest of the world, we are still the best place to live.

Re: Water Damage Job

Hey guys Thanks!
well we have had a Yard Sale for two days now and I haven't sold one piece of equipment, I have got about 10 so called contractors call me and e mail me, only one guy showed up yesterday and he offered me $60 bucks for a 28' commerical heavy duty ladder I paid $375 for it new and it's still like new
I also had a guy tell me that the Leaded Glass chandeller that dates to the 1920's was worth $100 I was offered $1,800 for it two years ago.
So if this keeps up I may still have all of my equipment when I hit Texas It's just gonna be a PITA to get it all down there.
I will keep in touch who knows down there in Austin I have heard it's a Artsie Town and I might be able to sell those Texans on Plaster
But we will see.
Thanks again guys
Here's what I'm sellin

Re: Water Damage Job

I could use that rolling scaffold--However, my tool budget and my hamburger budget are about the same--

Hang in there---I've got two brothers--both have moved to Texas in the last year or so. So far so good for them!

Re: Water Damage Job

Frank,
That is a nice assortment of scaffolding. I know moving it would be a pain, but if you are not getting much for it, maybe you should just move it. It would cost a lot to replace. If you move you could be up and running. I am sure you will do well down there. I can't believe you did as well as you did in Detroit (maybe the worst economy in the USA?).

Re: Water Damage Job

Roger,
Oh believe me I have had some clowns show up and asking if I'll take $50 for a $375 dollar ladder These guys are real A Holes
I told one guy "I'll take my equipment with me before I sell it dirt cheap!"
Pau,
Yeah your right this state is so F***ED UP and that's cause we have a bunch of Brain Dead Azzholes in Lansing
Grandhole screwed this state so bad with her back room deals with the Kilpatrick Klan
I hope that by the time the FBI gets done the whole bunch ends up in Prison where they belong! Nothing but street N*****S!
