Is There A Need For Drywallers & Plasterers In The US

I was wondering I am UK Plasterer/Drywaller currently living in Alberta, Canada. Is there the same need in the US for this trade or is it mainly Canada that is crying out for people?

There are a lot of spanish speaking in the trades now and there will be more in the skilled trades as they get experience and the unemplyment rate is as low as it is.

Some radio/tv stations recognize how much money is represented by the Spanish speaking buying power, so they aim at them, (unless it is your station that you own).

No,its just a station I listened to for 20 years. I dont mind the immigrants who come here and build a life, thats what this country is about....it's the ones who aren't paying taxes, etc and can undercut legitimate contractors ,put them out of business then head back across the border after making a killing. Not to mention the money minded corporations who are glad to cater to a population that is basically raising the number of homeless people who used to have a trade. There are 2 kinds of Americans now....the ones who try to stay honest,do quality work, contribute to society and the ones who happily ride the backs of the first kind, doing anything and dealing with anyone to make a dollar. Also it seems to me that every Russian,Korean and Chinese crew I work around on the job has gone thru the proper channels,in fact they get business loans, come to the job in new trucks, have new tools, don't hide when an official looking vehicle pulls on the job. They also manage to speak at least broken English and don't take pride in bashing everything American.May El Zol rot with malaria and a Tequila damaged liver......Long Live 991HFS
