Textured Ceiling Removal
Can you remove the textured ceilings that look like stalagmites the same way you remove popcorn by wetting it? I am doing a remodel with two bathrooms with the textured ceilings from a prevoius remodel and the rest are popcorn. We are trying to get them all flat.

Re: Textured Ceiling Removal
If it has been painted, probably not. Either scrape it down or use a PC sander and grind it down. Will likely have to skim it out.

Re: Textured Ceiling Removal
the easy way to remove anything from a ceiling is use a painters spray gun and spray with water then remove it. Afterward cross hatch the ceiling when you are floating them out. This works real good and is the easies way
