Tape Gets Air Pockets When Applied

I do alot of sheetrock, but never been around alot of pro sheetrockers, so I do the best as I can as I go, but the only issue I have is the tape pops up in some place, what causes this and how do I prevent it. Thanks

Re: Tape Gets Air Pockets When Applied

That usually happens when you squeeze the tape to hard when applying causing all the mud to be squeezed out leaving nothing to adhere it to the drywall.

Yep, if you see a bubble, usually means there is no mud back there.
