Spraying On Stilts!!!!!

I worked for a guy two days ,when he was spraying a garage, anyway the floor got slick and he took a bad fall, which shattered his knee cap in 8 place...please use scaffold for high ceiling spraying textures. It could save a knee cap..

Re: Spraying On Stilts!!!!!

He needs to learn to fall correctly. When we were 20-22 (drinking age and dumb) we used to have weekend fight night where we'd all strap on the stilts and have at it, granted only 4' off the ground but still hurt...nobody ever broke anything but we knew how to fall right

Seriously though, a heack of alot easier safer to set up rolling scaffolding for this type of work.

Re: Spraying On Stilts!!!!!

I feel bad HONESTLY for this guy, he was probably trying really hard to make his boss happy by cutting time on the stilts. Ive seen Guademalans here in New orleans on stilts trying to hang sheetrock on 9ft. ceilings. I told him to get down and take it easy. Its not really an insurance thing, but more of a moral thing. Just my 2 as a drywaller.
