Spanish Lace Knockdown
Hello all,
Is there anyone out there who can point me in the right direction of how to go about a "Spanish Lace" knockdown. A client has changed their minds mid stream and we have changed from an orange peel to this knockdown. We'll be spraying next Friday and I'd like to get some boards to the owners early next week so they can yea or nay it. What I'd really like are PICTURES as well as an idea of material/air settings or more specifically, air/material mix in relation to each other. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Re: Spanish Lace Knockdown
Taylor,
Someone put up a site that the guys did all types of textures they showed pictures, you might want to check back, the other thing is your gonna have to play with it, we use textured rollers and mop brushes to create the type of finish and then I take my 14" trowel and smooth over it. I have had to match so many textures over the years, and the funny thing is all the really bad matches I have seen. one guy used a Nike tennis shoe. It looked like it to. |
