Skim Coating With Sprayer

I've been looking at some of the higher end Graco sprayers. Some of them say they are capable of spraying drywall mud and can be used for skim coating. I do alot of commercial work that requires a level 5 finish and was wondering if any of you have used a sprayer to skim coat.

They work great! If you can run a sprayer well you will love it. Much less sanding for a level 5 finish.

how do you go about skim coating with a sprayer? do you cover the whole wall or what

mudd cat we use a marx 5 and pump mud threw it to coat with apla tech tools

we still use the mudrunner but find the sprayer works even faster
