Shower Surround

I am trying to install a 5 piece plastic shower surround in a client's bathroom above the tub. The corner pieces are not sticking to the wall properly. Seems to me that they are not even touching the walls to make contact with the construction adhesive I am using.

Anyone have this problem before?

Thanks,

Mike

Re: Shower Surround

Bead the flange with silicon and wedge a brace for an overnight cure.

Re: Shower Surround

Rip it out. Shim the studs. Re-install.

Or do like Bob said....can't tell how far out of square from here. Might work might not.

Yeah, those things suck ass. We won't even install them anymore. Only DTS units now. Like Bob said, get some braces in there and let it set up. Bet you wish you had known going into this that you needed to charge double for such a simple thing. It's like being hired to put lip stick on a beauty queen and a pig, you can make the beauty queen look nice in no time, but its a struggle to get that pig to look presentable!
