Repairing A Hole In A Plaster Wall
Hey all......I have not seen it yet but I got a call from someone that wants a hole in their kitchen wall repaired....it's about the size of two dinner plates...and the walls are plaster.
It doesn't have to be a fancy job....the house is in trust and being sold. There was a leak in the bathroom upstairs and the plumber had to tear the wall out to repair the leak and it was also damaged. So there isn't any wood lathe or mesh...just a big hole. How would you attack this repair? Thanks |

Re: Repairing A Hole In A Plaster Wall
Are you saying that this is an old Plaster Lathe system?
To repair this, cut out the damaged portion Stud to Stud. Get a piece of Drywall to fit the new opening. Mix up some hot mud . Tape /float/sand/skim coat/sand/paint. Your all done. |
