QuietRock At Tile Wall Problem

HELP! Our drawings spec'd 5/8" Quietrock, even at bathroom wet walls and tile locations. Quietrock is paper-faced and most definitely not supposed to be tiled over. The drywaller already purchased all the Quietrock pre-cut so we can't get a credit. We also CANNOT add any cementitious board to the Quietrock to be able to tile, as our very expensive glass walls throughout the bathroom are already fabbed and on the way from China. Does anyone know of a solution that does not require replacing the Quietrock or adding cementitious board?

Schluter Kerdi. It is a very thin waterproof membrane with a surface that is meant to be tiled over.
