Hey people, Im new to this site maybe someone can answer a question. I did look in the search but couldnt get much.

Im due to bid a basement job soon and the drywall is already up. The guy wants it finished taped and a knockdown text.

What is an average going rate for this?

Its like 1300 sqft with one 10 x 10 ceiling the rest is drop ceiling.

Is their an average cost per sheet.???

Im also located in the Mid west.

Ive done this a thousand times but not just for mudding and text. Usually i have the whole job, framing , hanging, plumb, elect, etc. and can make out pretty good.

I will usually charge my normal rate minus the cost of the drywall.

On any job under 100 boards, we charge by the day + materials. Sometimes there is not enough rock to charge by the board.
