Need Help From Canada Drywall Finisher

Hi fellow drywall finishers. I have a freind in the Burlington, New London area that needs a finisher. I live in southern Iowa. A little far for me to go to help him out. If you would be interested, let me know.

Tim, Is he in Ontario? I am about 3.5 hours west of Burlington if that is were he's at. I found it on the map and if New London is on Lake Ontario north of Hamilton. I would condiser making the trip depending on gas and rate of pay, would it be worth it. also how do they work over there with taxes and all that.

Thanks for the replies. I said it wrong where the job is. It is in Burlington, Ontario. A suburb of Toronto. One question was on how they work as far as taxes. I would need to check on that. Don't really think the job would be worth you driving three hours. I'll try to get more details.

Burlington is about 45 minutes, or 2 cities, down the highway from Toronto. It is considered part of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), but not a suburb.

London Ontario is a couple of hours away from Toronto and not considered part of the GTA.

Not sure what you mean for taxes. On any labour rates you will need to charge 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) and remit to the fed.

Thanks for clarifying. They lived in London and recently moved to Burlington. So, I guess that is close to Toronto.

So, is anyone close to Burlington? Or right in Burlington?
