Need A Comparison

I've done quite a bit of work in a customers garage. She had brown pegboard on all the walls and I replaced it with white, trimmed it all out, etc, etc.
Her daughter wanted to go with drywall but Mom decided on pegboard. The daughter had access to a drywall crew that would come in and rock all the walls.
I'm getting ready to submit a bill and just need a comparison of the approximate charge to rock a 22' x 24' garage. 2 walls at 24' and one wall at 22'. 8' ceilings. 2 windows and one doorway. What do you guys think a fair charge would have been to install and tape, ready for paint if it was stripped to studs when you got there.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Need A Comparison

i would say roughly $520 if all materials were supplied by the HO

thats based on 26 4X12 sheets @ 20.00 per sheet, labor only.

I don't know about that because we can still afford our mortgages. It seems to me that you guys down there are letting a few people get rich off your cheep labor.

Re: Need A Comparison

I wouldn't do it for anything less than 45 dollars per sheet for material and labor. I don't know how bad competition is for you, but if you can I would charge 50 a sheet.

I would have to get 45 to 50 to make it worth my time for a small job like that.
But for new homes you're lucky to get 35 around here.
