Metal Studs Question

What would one expect to pay for metal studs 3 5/8 @ 16" on center for 340 lineal feet.

This is in a class A office configuration w/ a 10" monolithic lay in ceiling grid.

Thank you.

It's Christmas, , I would expect to pay nothing!!
Especially if a class A joint as you say.

If you were looking what one would charge you? I wish I could offer a number, oops, a useful number, I mean. All my syferring I figure my studs, cause mine are 1 1/2", not 3 5/8", but at that width you could cheat a lil & maybe go 16 1/2 " o/c or 17" even, yeah save one or 2 in the wall.
Then again, you thru me for a loop with the 10" mono ceiling grid.
Is this where you will put all them metal things?
Mono means one piece does it not? so how big is this ceiling, I'm sure it isn;t 10"x10" is it?
Send me an email and I will get to syferring for ya, just please send more details on this ceiling deal. Cause I thought ya was speaking about
walls.. Now I so confused...

What new eh? but hey, I am learnable though, work with me

Happy Holidays

Re: Metal Studs Question

Class A is $5.45 a stud, layed out 16 OC, add $1.12 LF for putting in track and $.1.18 LF to pick up wall and fasten. Screws are 2 per stud at $.16 each unless you want 4 per stud then we give you a break and charge $.12 each.
Class action job is T & M and I need more information to estimate that one because you know, good estimating is key to success.

Thank you big help.

I meant to say the ceiling height was 10' w/ a monolithic lay in 2x4 grid. Perimeter walls we run up to the deck - which in most my buildings are 13' or 14' to allow for HVAC VAV systems.

I feel stupid asking this as my first post as my request for info - is not more substantive - I've got a host of numbers from a new GC w/ no backup and before I deduce - I wanted to develop a boiler plate of material expense before I negotiate or shop further. I've ott being able to find a good commercial tenant fitup GC. My thought at this point is to go directly to subs to negotiate cost of materials plus and then retain CM or GM in just a capacity to administrate.

Drywall/studs - are obviously the largest bulk - and demo we see in 100-200k turn over annually.

Re: Metal Studs Question

p.s. - my bid states:

3 5/8 MS wall 16" oc 1/2 dry 2/s - 340lf @ $37.84 - $12,865.00

1/2" drywall on perimeter wall 10' 2860 sq/ft $1.75 = $5,005.00
