Hello Blones
When you plaster do you do all smooth or do you do sand finish? My Dad used to do quite a bit of swirl in the sand finish. Looks nice, but when I try it seems I don't have as much sand for the texture to pull up to make a nice looking swirl. Can up give me any tips?

we always plaster to a flat level 5 finish,we use gypsum products. texturing is another type of finish in small demand at the moment, you can get acrylic sand finishes for external renders
