Icynene Foam Insulation

Do you guys have an opinion on the spray foam on the ceiling? Seems to me it is a vapor barrier on the ceiling. I thought we got rid of that problem in the eighties. Do you have it in your areas?

Are you saying that you don't want a vapor barrier on your ceilings for some reason?

Sure don't in Iowa. Too much humidity and temp change. Causes joints to peek too much. Traps the moisture between the rock and the plastic. Unless, you have a whole house fresh air intake, then it seems OK. I've removed enough rock over the years from ceilings and seen the mold between the rock and plastic. Seems like a problem to me.
