hello im in the market to buying auto tools for the winter reno months i just wanted to know how fast can i accomplish taping and plastering with auto tools vs traditional knife, i usually do basement and when i plaster i do 4 coats of coating and plastering a 900 sqft basement takes me about 5-6 days on my own, i personally hate plastering im hoping i can do it in less than half the time with auto tools and with suer duper less mess i have my eyes on the coloumbia or northstar

Might want to get a banjo and maybe look for a pump and boxes to do the rest or you could just pay a professional so you don't get raped when we come in later to come fix the mess...

Usually when I get "that call" you know the one where the customer says "we allready put the tapes on and coated it twice, we just need you to come do a skim coat to finish it up really nice"
I tell them that they have allready done the hardest parts, they may as well keep on going, and that there doing a fine job

Yes. They are 8' wide and you need arms like Arnie to use one.
