Good Pace For Finishing

What's a good amount of material use a day per skilled finisher in PA? Or sq ft completed taping?

Well pay rate sure is, and everywhere i have ever gone that isn't Philladelphia region (and north to Ny) expectations are lower for speed. I never had to judge what a finisher should complete in a day, I think he's doing well, just wanted to check. Guess nobody knows.

How fast can you run a mile? How fast if you were wearing boots? How fast can you run it in sand?
In other words how many closet's, bad butt-joints, beads, penetrations and high work is on the job? Every job is different. Hope you get the picture now.
Too many variables to judge a tapers speed.

I can paint a ceiling in 1/2 an hour, it took that michelangelo fellow a lot longer, I bet he was paid by the hour !

Re: Good Pace For Finishing

We get about 4000-5000 sqf of simple box style rooms, taped/3 coats/sanded out, done in approx. 10 man days (2 guys-5 days)

Vaults, closets, offangles, highwork, detailing, blending into existing walls, patching, skimwork, etc..., all drop the sqf productivity rate.
