Finishing Corners
If "crown" moulding is intended in each room and both ceilng and wall drywall is being replaced, is there any need to tape/mud these inside corners?
Thanks

I tape and finish everything, even when they tell me crown or whatever. Just in case they change their mind. That way I don't have to go back because they didnt want crown in this roo afterall. Doesn't take long to finish a few angles. Just my opinion.

I'd still finish regardless. Thats the type of thing that might you look bad in the future. You could always ask the GC or HO, they might want the discount.

Fire Rating
Check your fire rating!
Likely need to at least tape the corners to provide a fire barrier that the wood moulding would not provide.

If its an outside wall it has to be taped, to be sealed....
my honest opion is to tape everything then make the HO feel you did it just out of the goodness of your heart......

Ditto!
Taping the corners won't cost much more if the rest of the wall is being taped...there is no real cost savings there, however, you'll be hating life if you paint and decide to get smaller crown...or if you decide to remove it one day...plus think of little critters like spiders and Ants!
Seal and Finish Everything...and you can't go wrong!

Yea, just finish it.
If your gonna save THAT much money on a few corner angles, it's time to re-examine your business plan!
